Hike to Double Arch

I decided to so this hike at the end of the day due to the heat. I was hoping to get a good shot of the sunset but it was quite cloudy.

Canyonlands National Park

This park is pretty cool. I got up at 330am to get my spot to see the sunrise through Mesa Arch. It was quite spectacular.

Capitol Reef National Park

This park is one of the least visited of the National Parks. It is quite unique and definitely worth stopping to see. Yes, bigfoot was spotted here! 😀

Bryce Canyon

This is the most interesting park I’ve been to. It was like being in Whoville with all the crazy hoodoos!!

I really wish I had more time to spend at each of these parks. They are all so beautiful, with so many things to see.

Zion National Park is so amazing, it gets it’s own post…

Hike along the Ute Trail and Colorado River

This hike showed me exactly what it was like to be in the mountains. A completely different feeling than just driving through.

Here is the next hike. Drove a few miles down Trail Ridge Road to the bottom of the valley. Went about 3 miles into the trails here.

My first stop, Rocky Mountain National Park

I got almost three full days in RMNP. It was amazing beyond belief. I drove along Trail Ridge Road the first day. Seeing the Rocky Mountains for the first time, literally took my breath away.

National Parks pass sure came in handy on this road trip!

My crazy amazing road trip out west

This year changed my life. It was my first time going out west. I took a two week road trip across the country. It was beyond magic. I hit seven National Parks, one state park, Monument Valley and a National Monument. Over 4300 miles total. It truly was a dream come true.
